Beyond the Boardroom: Lavery's Multi-Use Video Wall at Place Ville-Marie

May 27, 2026 (Montreal, QC)Lavery, Quebec’s largest law firm, undertook a major renovation of its offices located inside Montreal’ s iconic Place Ville-Marie (among the building’s top office levels). With the goal of injecting new energy into the firm’s brand and workplace culture. The architectural and interior design was led by ACDF Architecture, who brought MOOG Audio on board to handle the audiovisual integration. At the heart of the redesign was a central hub space (the primary arrival point for all employees) where three large-format LED video walls were installed using 145 Absen NX2.5 panels.

Alexandre Kano, President of MOOG Audio, explains:

“The three screens serve primarily to bring video texture and imagery into the space. But at the same time, they also serve as a training room. When a VP wants to broadcast a message, everyone gathers in the hub. The three screens become a Teams room.”

The installation transitions seamlessly between ambient visual content, an all-hands company communications via Microsoft Teams, and even sports viewing for after-work gatherings.

The client had prior experience with other LED products and came in skeptical. Overcoming that skepticism required a combination of product quality, local serviceability, and after-sales confidence.

A visit to SC Media’s showroom proved to be the turning point:

“It really came together when they visited the SC Media offices. They saw the seriousness of both companies (SC Media and Moog Audio). They didn’t ask any more questions.  When you see the product in person, you see the quality.”

Key decision factors included: Absen’s product quality, SC Media’s local presence and technical support infrastructure, the promise of reliable after-sales service, and the hands-on showroom experience.

The installation came with logistical challenges; getting the equipment up to the upper floors of Place Ville-Marie was no small feat. However, the project was completed successfully and to the client’s full satisfaction.

“It was a beautiful project, very well coordinated… The client is extremely satisfied. It was a real success and produced a truly great result.”
