April 2nd, 2024 – SC Media Canada proudly announces the newest addition to its team, Dave Matijcio, who joins as the Ontario Sales Representative. With a remarkable career spanning over two decades, Dave brings a wealth of experience and passion for audiovisual technology to his new role.
Dave’s journey into the world of sales began at Roland Canada Music, where he spent an impressive 22 years honing his skills and expertise. Starting in the warehouse, Dave’s talent and dedication soon propelled him into sales, where he excelled in the musical instrument (MI) sector. His passion for music production led him to explore mixing and mastering, establishing his own production setup at home.
Over the years, Dave’s trajectory evolved alongside advancements in music technology. He matriculated to Roland’s Professional Audio/Visual division, embracing new challenges and opportunities. From mastering the intricacies of the M5000s to expanding his expertise into video, Dave demonstrated a relentless commitment to excellence. With a keen eye for innovation and a deep understanding of customer needs, Dave’s role extended beyond sales. He ventured into sales engineering and provided invaluable technical support.
Even outside of his professional endeavors, Dave’s passion for audio and video remained unwavering. He embarked on freelance projects, fine-tuning home theaters and audiovisual setups, further enriching his expertise and understanding of the industry.
